Feng Xuemin

1953 Born in Shanghai, China
1970 Graduated from high school. Went to Yunnan in Southern China and became a farmer
1982 Became a press photographer of Shanghai Pictorial Press, China
1985 Studied at Photographic Department of Kodansha, Japan, as a postgraduate dispatched by the Chinese News & Publication Association
1989 Studied at Horiuchi Color Ltd., Tokyo, Japan
1995 Became Deputy Director, Photo Department of Asatsu Inc. Japan
1996 Cocktail party of Photo Exhibition Ceremony held at the People’s Great Hall  in Beijing, China
   Special Interview: “Oriental Children” by CCTV, China
1997 Visiting professor of Shanghai Normal University, China
1988 Member of “China Photographers’ Association”
2000 Consultant of the Photographic Society of Los Angeles, USA
   Honorary Citizen of the City of Alhambra and the City of Monterey Park, USA
   World Outstanding Chinese Artist awarded by the Ministry of Culture, China
